Lossi 36 at the 2024 goEast Festival of Central and Eastern European Film

From 24-30 April, Wiesbaden, as well as other locations in the Rhine-Main region, were home to the 24th edition of the goEast – Festival of Central and Eastern European Film. This year, a little over 40 feature films, as well as a number of shorts, were screened. In addition to the film screenings, the festival featured a symposium titled “The Other Queers – Cinematic Images from the Periphery of Europe,” which aimed to discuss how non-heteronormativity and LGBTQ+ cinematic images have always been an intrinsic part of the cultural landscape at the “periphery” of Europe.
