Lossi 36 at the 2023 goEast Festival of Central and Eastern European Film

From 26 April-2 May, Wiesbaden, as well as other locations in the Rhine-Main region, were home to the 23rd edition of the goEast – Festival of Central and Eastern European Film. This year, almost 50 feature films, as well as a number of shorts, were screened. In addition to the film screenings, the festival featured a symposium titled “Decolonizing the (Post-)Soviet Screen,” which aimed to discuss and apply the concept of decolonization in the context of the (post-)Soviet space including Central Asia, Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltics, the Caucasus, and the Russian Federation and its autonomous regions. Lossi 36 was able to view some of the films screened — take a look at our reviews below!
