Snapshots: Seasons of Estonia1 min read

However small in terms of geography and population, Estonia is a beautiful country with many different sides to it. Introducing  our new snapshot feature, this series of photos were taken between the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018. They show a mixture of the seasons and environments, people and architecture that makes Estonia its own.

While Narva is the industrial hub of the north – close to Russia and with a sizeable Russian minority making up its population – Tartu is more of a meeting place for students and academics, as this is where the country’s oldest university is situated. These photos were taken by me while I was living in Estonia as a foreign student.
